NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND – Mohamed Salah scored twice as Liverpool fought back to draw 3-3 with Newcastle United on Wednesday, reducing their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points.
Liverpool appeared poised to secure all three points until Newcastle’s Fabian Schär capitalized on a goalkeeper error from Caoimhín Kelleher in the 90th minute to level the score.
With the draw, Liverpool, under Arne Slot, now sit on 35 points, while Chelsea and Arsenal trail by seven points after dominant victories. Chelsea hammered 10-man Southampton 5-1, while Arsenal cruised to a 2-0 win over Manchester United, handing new manager Ruben Amorim his first league defeat.
